Updates & New Playlist

All three versions of MPC MediaFile were updated to address some issues with incorrect scaling on some systems with resolution higher then 1280x800. Please see release notes for detailed information about changes.  One major addition is playlist creation. Previously you could create asx playlist under File Mode. Although it worked, it was not the most intuitive way of doing it. Right now this feature is available using XML Mode. This way you will have more information about the items you want to include in your playlist.

As you can see, drop down menu gives you option of creating playlist in two different formats. First, ASX, is a standard used by Windows Media Player and other applications. MediaBrowser supports this format, and it allows you to play your items in desired order. If you select shortcut, MediaFile will create links to your recordings. This method is used by Favorites plugin in MediaBrowser. The best way to use this feature is to create new Entry Point in MediaBrowser configurator called Playlists and then select this folder as your destination when creating shortcut playlist. "Shortcut + Folder" option will create separate folder for each Playlist Name. So it's like having multiple Favorites folders in one location.

Adding Movies, TV Episodes and Music Video tracks to playlist is straightforward. However, if you add TV Series name to your queue, then all episodes that belong to this series, will be added to playlist. The same rule applies to Artists, all individual tracks will be included.

MPC MediaFile is now available

After couple months of work, MediaFile is finally available to purchase. Three different versions are waiting for you in download section. If you have questions, or if you are unsure how to use application, please visit Tutorials section. If you decide to purchase software, I will try my best to deliver license key as soon as possible, however it should take no longer than 24 hours. Once you purchase the license, it will remain valid for future releases. Thank you and enjoy it
